Tim Jimenez is a morning drive reporter for KYW Newsradio.
He was born and raised in Lansdale, Montgomery County, and is a proud Temple University alumnus.

He has been with KYW since October 2007 when he started as a news production assistant. He then became a writer, web editor and reporter. He started covering stories for the morning drive in September 2014.
Some of his most memorable moments include covering the first day of the Festival of Families during the papal visit in 2015, giving early morning updates from the site of the Democratic National Convention in 2016, and hearing Eagles chants on the Ben Franklin Parkway at 4 a.m. during the Eagles Super Bowl parade in 2018.

Jimenez is a big basketball fan and is on a never-ending quest to attain the perfect jump shot. Since 2009, he has been a color commentator and play-by-play announcer for the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Thomas Jefferson University, formerly Philadelphia University. In 2011 and 2012, he was a broadcaster for the Reebok Breakout Challenge, which showcased some of the best high school basketball players in the country.

He has been on the board of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, which helps families that care for sick or disabled children, since 2019.
