Dennis Edward is the Newsroom Operations Manager for KYW Newsradio.

 

He joined KYW Newsradio in 2000 as a desk assistant.

 

In his role of Newsroom Operations Manager Edward helps make sure everything runs smoothly in the newsroom. This includes running the school closing system for KYW Newsradio and coordinating the KYW Newstudies Program. He is your main contact if you have any questions or issues.

 

One of Dennis' proudest moments at KYW Newsradio is when he was part of the broadcast team that won the 2010 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for coverage of the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship.

 

Dennis' favorite part of the Newstudies program is when he is in the studio recording the students and helping them put the finishing touches on their final project.

Dennis is a Philadelphia native and graduate of Temple University.
