Marc Zumoff serves as Associate Director of the Claire Smith Center for Sports Media at his alma mater, Temple University, where he also teaches.
He is probably best known as the iconic television voice of the Philadelphia 76ers, a dream job he held for 27 seasons before retiring in 2021, capping a 39-year run covering the team. A 19-time Emmy winner for best play-by-play, Beyond the Sixers, his career includes play-by-play for the Rio Olympics (U.S. Women's Basketball gold medal), Flyers hockey, and work across NBC Sports, Turner Sports, and NBA-TV. He is also an author, media coach, and chairman of Maccabi Media.

Zumoff is a decorated broadcaster, holding 19 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards for best play-by-play. He was also named Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year in 2018 and 2019, received the Bill Campbell Award (2018), and is an inductee in both the Temple University and Philadelphia Jewish Sports Halls of Fame.
