Sunny Morgan is a general assignment reporter at KYW Newsradio. She joined the staff in June of 2024. Sunny most recently served as a media instructor with WHYY, where she worked with Philadelphia school students and teachers on media and journalism education.

 

Previously, Sunny reported freelance for a wide range of publications. She created and hosted the "Almost Adult" podcast. At her alma mater West Chester University, Sunny was a multimedia editor for "The Quad", a reporter for WCU studios, a host at WCUR-FM, and founded the West Chester University Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists.
