Joe Schreiber is a 13-time Emmy Award-winning television producer and General Manager of
Temple University Television (TUTV), where he helps prepare the next generation of journalists
and storytellers for careers in professional media. He also serves as an adjunct professor in
Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication.
A veteran of network television, Schreiber helped launch and produce NBC’s George Michael
Sports Machine and has covered 23 Super Bowls during a career spanning sports, news and

his approach emphasizes preparation, curiosity and the ability to connect with an
audience—skills at the heart of effective journalism.
He is also co-founder of 3 Penny Films, which has produced more than 60 programs, including
the PBS documentary P.O.W.: Passing On Wisdom. Schreiber earned his M.S. in Communication
